Obituary - Pipe Major James A. Murray
        Jimmy passed away at St. Peter's Hospital on November 27, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.  
Jimmy Murray was born into the band.  His father was a piper in the band at the time and pipe major from 1955 to 1981.  Jimmy was pipe major from 1981 to 2018 when he stepped down due to health issues.  He remained with the band although unable to play.
