Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 58 East Hamilton
The Royal Canadian Legion was founded in 1926 and East Hamilton Branch 58 received its charter in 1927. The branch is located at 1180 Barton St. East. The current hall, also known as Earl Haig Memorial Hall, was opened in 1974, replacing the original building that was destroyed by fire in 1973. There are two halls which may be rented for meetings, weddings, funerals, banquets and other events. The Ladies’ Auxiliary can offer catering from the fully equipped kitchen. The club rooms feature pool tables and dart boards for the members.
Sunday: 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. Doors open at 12:00 noon.
Monday, Tuesday closed all day for summer hours for July and August.
Wednesday and Thursday: 12:30 p.m. to about 10:30 p.m. at the steward’s discretion.
Friday 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Saturday 12:00 noon to 12:30 a.m. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
